Temples Of Sikkim

Hey guys! How are you all? I am lakshya Aggarwal your favourite blogger and I am again here in front of you with a new topic, with a new temple, and if we will say it a monastery it will be good and today I will tell you more about Rumtek Monastery. I know that I am too late but don't worry it is my fifth blog and I will complete all my 10 mighty blogs within a week and I will post all these to you too so that you can also take fun and can also gather knowledge. So let's get started without wasting a single second of time.


Rumtek Monastery


 First let's take blessings from god and after then we will start. Sikkim can be called as the land of monasteries as there are plenty of monasteries ancient and modern monasteries located in Sikkim. Being as a major Buddhism destination and home to a large number Buddhism followers, the Sikkim attracts a large number of tourists and the followers of Buddhism philosophy. The Rumtek monastery is one of the oldest and the biggest monasteries in the Sikkim which is located at the Gangtok, around 24 KM away from it. The monastery was first built by 12th Karmapa Lama Changchub Dorje in 1730 which was destroyed in a fire mishap. again it was built by the 16th Karmapa Rang Jung Rigpe  Dorje in 1966 and made the glorious seat for Karmapa.
